Legendary comedian, Amooti Omubalanguzi, has shared his excitement and pride as he reflects on his 25-year career in comedy.
Speaking ahead of his upcoming show on 13th December, Amooti revealed that he and his group, The New Amarula Family, have been rehearsing for three months in preparation for the event.
Amooti joked that attendees should “come with a towel” because they will be laughing so hard at the show.
Amooti also expressed his pride in the impact he has had on Uganda’s comedy scene, saying, “I have inspired many people and I am proud of it.”
Over the years, his work has encouraged many to join the industry, a legacy he cherishes deeply.
