Elijah Kitaka, the trending artist behind the hit single “Dawa,” shared his personal story about the lengths he has gone to for love.
In an interview, Kitaka revealed an incident that happened eight years ago, which he now considers the “dumbest thing” he has done for love.
Kitaka recounted how, at 2 a.m., he made a random decision to visit his girlfriend. Driven by jealousy and what he describes as “probably too much love,” he hopped onto a boda and traveled from Kira to Muyenga.
The urgency of his trip was sparked by his girlfriend’s refusal to answer his calls, leaving him worried and desperate to see her.
I was jealous, probably too much love and it happened like 8 years back.
Despite his late-night journey and the drama that happened, the couple stayed together for a while before eventually breaking up.
Now, Elijah Kitaka is single and not actively searching for a relationship. He explained that the demanding nature of being an artist can be challenging for women to handle, making it difficult to maintain a stable relationship.
