Makindye West Member of Parliament, Hon. Allan Ssewanyana has explained why he has yet to pay a visit to ailing Kawempe North MP, Hon. Muhammed Ssegirinya who is bedridden at the Agakhan hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

Speaking to journalists, Hon. Allan Ssewanyana stressed that the reason is that his passport was confiscated by the Court ever since they were released from incarceration with Hon. Ssegirinya following charges related to terrorism.

He adds that he has faced it hard to get his passport back thus making his travels out of the country impossible by stating he can only be permitted to get it back if he pays a huge sum of money or when he has a pressing need that would need urgent travel.

It is true I’m yet to pay a visit to Hon. Muhammed Ssegyirinya in the hospital because my passport was consificated by the court and getting is a hustle or I either have to pay a huge sum of money to get it out or when I have a very pressing issue that is when I think the government can allow to give it to me back.
