Ex-Black Magic Management singer John Kasadha, popularly known as John Blaq, never ceases to give Swangz Avenue’s singer Vinka her flowers when he gets the opportunity to do so.
In several interviews that the self-styled African Bwoy has conducted, he has always heaped praise on Vinka for the opportunity she availed him when they hit the studio and recorded a single titled “Sweet Love” way back in 2018.
The track was John Blaq’s breakthrough tune that came at a time when he needed it the most after several years of hustling within the music industry and he can never take it for granted that Vinka appreciated his unique style and acknowledged working with him.
At the time, John Blaq had faced rejection by some music producers who thought he wouldn’t make in it the music industry due to his style of music.
While appearing on NTV’s THE BEAT Show, John Blaq confessed saying he feels like if it weren’t for Vinka to him a hand to work together on a collaboration, the world wouldn’t have known him.
He added that when Vinka supported him, he was inspired to uplift other artists who were struggling with music at that time and he also returned the favor by collaborating with artists and their projects turned out to be hit jams.
Sometimes I feel like if it weren’t for Vinka, maybe the world wouldn’t know me. She gave me that chance when I was still an upcoming star. When Vinka supported me, it inspired me to uplift other artists.

From that moment, his life took a complete turn and he is now living a life that he only had in visions back in the day he is thankful to God for the transformation and whenever he reflects on his past and how he used to struggle he goes down on his knees and thanks God.
I am happy because when I sit down and reflect on the past, I see how hard life was. But now, people listen to me and appreciate my music.
