Joshua Baraka has attributed his success to God and the fans from across Africa ahead of his much-anticipated live concert in London, whose tickets have already been sold out.
Joshua Baraka is set to perform at the Amazing Grace in London, UK on 13th October 2024 – his very first individual concert.
The tickets to his concert are already sold out. “It’s like a 350 seater venue and the tickets are sold out already, no more tickets,” Baraka told a local YouTuber Allan Cruz.
“Everyone has been hitting me up trying to get tickets but I’ve also failed. I will have to announce another date,” he added.
He attributes his success to God and his various fans worldwide who have warmly welcomed his music and embraced his style.
In the same interview, the Nana singer noted that he was initially discouraged by critics who claimed his music style wasn’t suitable for the Ugandan audience but he did not take their word.
People used to tell me that this kind of music won’t work here because Ugandans are accustomed to a particular taste of music but that is false because I get a lot of love from Ugandans. I didn’t care much about that narrative.
