The tweet immediately fetched mixed reactions from netizens who called the emcee out for sleeping in a girls dormitory and showing interest in a teenager.
Early on Thursday morning, MC Ollo via X has issued another tweet in which he apologises for his earlier tweet.
The Kiromo Teenz Team Leader explains how his tweet was misconstrued and taken out of context.
“Regrettably, my words have been misconstrued, causing harm and discomfort. I deeply regret my poor choice of words and the unintended consequences of my actions,” Ollo writes.
He goes on to reveal that he spent a night at the school in the girls dormitory because it is an all-girls school and it was part of the arrangements ahead of the Bootcamp of the National Schools Championship.
He apologises to the brands mentioned in his tweet and vows to learn from his mistakes to exercise better caution in the future.
It is understood that Bebe Cool’s daughter Beata Ssali goes to the same school.
