Ruth Mitchell Bisoboka, the miss Bugerere, was on Sunday, 5th January 2025, unveiled to club officials and players as the club’s ambassador at Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds-Kayunga immediately after a Buganda Regional League game against Nantabulirirwa FC.
Bisoboka will support Bugerere United FC and help to promote the club to outside world and highlight the value of sports, particularly in the youths.
“Today, I have been given an opportunity to talk with players of our team (Bugerere United FC) after being given responsibility as the ambassador of the team to promote and motivate them. In the meeting, I explained to them the importance of commitment in everything that we do because you can’t get grate result without sacrifice.” Stated Ruth Mitchell Bisoboka, Miss Bugerere.
In her communication to players, she quoted words of King Solomon “Time and chance happens to us all,” and where everyone is God will bring opportunity, but what matters a lot is how you handle it to change your life.
“I reminded them to take this opportunity, and being that I have also entrusted with another responsibility, I don’t take it for granted because of Bugerere had trusted me as their miss and so I have to work tirelessly”. She added.
Brian Nkuubi, Bugerere United Football Club president, once again thanked Bugerere Ssaza officials and the Miss for accepting the clubs request to have her as the ambassador.
“We wish to thank Bugerere Ssaza, Miss Bugerere, and Buganda Kingdom for embracing the idea of having this team in place and having miss as our first ambassador it is a stepping stone in the promotion of this club”.
The 2024/25 is the Bugerere United FC second season in the league (Buganda Regional League), and this season, they are competing in the Ssezibwa Group. They are currently in the 6th position following their barren draw in the encounter played on Sunday at Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds.
Who is Ruth Mitch Bisoboka
Bisoboka Ruth Mitchell is a 25 year old Ugandan with a passion for cultural promotion, community development, and tourism advocacy. With a bachelor’s degree in food processing technology, Ruth merges her academic background with her commitment to service and leadership.
She currently holds the title of Miss Tourism Bugerere 2024/25 and the 2nd runner-up for Miss Tourism Buganda 2024, where she actively promotes the beauty, heritage, and potential of Buganda Kingdom.
Ruth’s work is deeply rooted in her life for people, her faith, and her desire to bring positive change to her community.
