The draws for the Round of 32 of the 51st Edition of Stanbic Uganda Cup held today (Monday) at FUFA House in Mengo Kampala.
The former Uganda Cranes Captain and the IUEA head coach, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda was the main conductor of the draws.
For starters, Mawanda won the Cup title with SC Villa in 2014, when the Jogoos beat Kasasiro boys, 3-1 in the final played at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
According to FUFA competitors Director, Hajjat Aisha Nalule, this round of 32 action will be honored between 19th and 28th February, 2025 and it will be a one legged affair.
At this level, the team picked first took the hosting rights at this round.
The reigning champions, Kitara FC shall be visiting a Kampala Regional league side, CATIDA FC as the losing finalists, NEC FC will be hosting Fufa big league side, Blacks Power at Phillip Omondi Stadium – Lugogo.
The joint record winners with ten trophies each (Express FC and KCCA FC) shall be on road visiting Total FC and Kuluva Rainbow FC respectively.
Vipers SC shall be at home hosting Mbarara City FC while Simba FC, the Buganda Regional league side who eliminated a Uganda Premier League side, Mbale Heroes will be hosting another UPL side and the 9 time champion, Sports Club Villa in Namulonge.
