Kayunga District Secondary Schools Sports Associations will on Saturday 29th, March 2029, at St Mark Schools Wantete Kayunga off to Busaana Road, but before, Kayunga District will have their semi finals battle to see who progress to the finals this Wednesday 26th, March.
At Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds, St. Mark High School will face off with Ndeeba Secondary School well as Namagabi battles it out with revived Green Valley High School Ssuka following an epic quarter finals.
St Mark High School looked to be a team to beat after playing nine (9) matches without conceding a goal and failing to score once, and that is against Namagabi in the round of sixteen in a contest which ended in a barren draw.
Davis Nono coached side defeated Fountain of Hope (4-0), Kanjuki SS (3-0), and Uganda Martyrs Kayunga (2-0) at round of 32.
At around sixteen (16), the Wantete based were Victor’s against Yale High School by 3-0 score line and 2-0 over Oxford High School before settling for a barren against Namagabi SS.
In quarter finals, St Mark registered maximum points by defeating Musiitwa Seed School by 1-0, 2-0 over Green Valley Ssuka and Hopeful Future SS.
Elsewhere, Namagabi SS, to reach this far, they defeated Green Valley Ssuka and Bbaale Secondary School in a round of 32 by 2-0 and 3-0, respectively in a group which had only 3 Schools.
At round sixteen, Namagabi SS defeated Yale High School and Oxford High School before settling a one all draw against St Mark High School.
At the quarter final level, Namagabi defeated Ndeeba SS by 1-0, Kitimbwa Bright Future by 3-0 before drawing with St Mathias Kalemba in a one all draw (1-1).
