The USSSA Teso zonal qualifiers set to climax on Monday, 14, April in Kumi City and the great rivals in the region are meeting on semifinal.
The Bukedea District champions, Bukedea Comprehensive School South and losing finalists, Amus college are set to meet tomorrow (Monday) on semifinal at Boma Grounds in Kumi Town.
To reach this stage, Bukedea Comprehensive beat Teso College Aloet 2-0 at round of sixteen, thanks to Asega Halid and Ssengendo Tony strikes. On quarter final, the side registered a 1-0 hard fought victory against the hosts, Wiggins SS and they winning goal was scored by Ssekibengo Godfrey, he converted direct from the corner kick.
Their counterparts, Amus College School eliminated Kabarwa Seed School with a 1-0 victory at round of sixteen before beating Teso Progressive Academy (TEPA) 2-0 on quarter final courtesy of Wanyama Lucky and Etoma Julius.
The other semifinal will see Bukedea Comprehensive School North tormentor, Labira Girls SS hosting 2025 National Championship host, Ngora High School.
These semifinals are scheduled to be hosted at 8am before the final slated for 3PM.
The four semifinalists have qualified to the 2025 USSSA boys football national championship slated for 5th next month in Ngora district.
