Veteran musician and humanitarian activist Halimah Namakula has urged female artists to always dress appropriately noting that wearing skimpy outfits doesn’t earn them the popularity among fans as many think.

She explains that someone can dress decently and still command a positive fan base without the need to turn up at events or shows while dressed in semi-naked outfits.

She adds that artists, especially the rising stars should keep in mind that being a fan’s favorite doesn’t happen because someone dresses skimpily but it is a result of one’s hard work that they invest in their craft to elevate them to the top level.

It should be recalled that last year, there was a night when her daughter Rachel K turned up for the Jam Session pantyless and the cameras captured her underneath which became a hot subject online.

Speaking in the cameras, Halimah defended her daughter by noting that it happened so because Rachel K had spent most of her time in Europe and had adopted the dressing code of the other side but has been lectured on how to dress decently.
