After half a year AWOL, Uganda’s dynamic girl duo Kataleya and Kandle; real names Hadijah Namakula (Kataleya) and Rebecca Robins Nabatuusa (Kandle) is back- and seemingly with a bang.
Via their new social media accounts, the singers revealed their return to the music scene early on the morning of Thursday 30th May 2024.
Sharing photos of themselves wearing shirts with the wordings “Back Like Never Left”, the duo added the caption, “Who missed us?”
According to the reactions on the different posts from netizens, Kataleya and Kandle were missed indeed.
It should be remembered that the duo left their old management after an initially silent inner dispute that later grabbed the attention of the public at the start of the year.

The duo has had to silently rebuild confidence and, with fresh zeal, has managed to resurface. They have also rebranded to “K&K Music” and opened new social media pages which hints at unresolved issues with their former management.
According to reports, Kataleya and Kandle have been working on new music projects including singles and collaborations with some of the top music acts and the songs should be dropping anytime soon.
