Mama D upon hitting the 120-hour mark

At a few minutes past midnight on Thursday 6th June 2024, Mama D surpassed her set target of 120 hours in her reattempt at the Longest Cookathon.

Starting at midnight on 1st June, Mama D kicked off her reattempt with zeal to beat Alan Fisher’s 119 hours and 57-minute standing record which he set in October 2023.

Mama D first attempted to beat the record in December 2023 unsuccessfully after the evidence sent to the Guinness World Records review team was nullified due to overly branded videos.

She set out to go again this month and has been supported by Ugandans back home and several companies that sponsored her reattempt.

She revealed that it is now upon the GWR team to examine and review her evidence before they can officially certify her as a World Record holder in a few weeks.

SPEECHLESS! With all this energy these 120 hours went by so easy! S/O to each & everyone of you that came through with all the love at High Note Bar. WE DID IT! #MamaDsWorldRecord
