Kayunga District Secondary schools will be on Saturday 22nd, March, 2025, to battle for the final four slots to get representatives at regional.
Following the draws held on Monday 17th, March, eight (8) schools were pitted in two (2) groups of four (4) teams each where top two in each group will automatically qualify for regional qualifiers.
As per the drawers, St Mark High School Kayunga was drawn in Group A alongside Hopeful Future Secondary School, Musiitwa Seed School, and Green Valley Secondary School Ssuka with contest set to be hosted at Ndeeba Church of Uganda playground.
St Mark High School tactician Davis Nono Ssozi has warned his side to have it in mind that there is no weak team at this stage.
“Every team at this stage is strong, and by so, I want my boys and the supporters to foster a culture of respect for opponents, recognizing their abilities and potential.” Said Nono
To reach this stage, St. Mark High School is yet to either lose a game or concede a goal in as many games as Six played so far.
In the round of 32, St Mark was victors winning all her three games on the day. They (St Mark) defeated Fountain of Hope 4-0, Kanjuki SS 3-0 before wrapping up the by a convincing 2-0 win over Uganda Martyrs Kayunga.
