Final preparations to host soccer with Vision League at Kanjuki Junior School are in high gear.
According to Basomesa Issa Ntale, the director Kanjuki Junior School, the school has done all what it takes to have the League played in Kayunga District come Tuesday, 3rd June 2025.
“It’s a big opportunity for us as Kanjuki Junior School Kayunga to be hosting such an exciting football tournament for youths. We are more than ready to have it played here.” Said Basomesa Isa Ntale
Tuesday 3rd June 2025 will be the first outing as the Soccer With Vision League re-kick off, and the Uganda Primary Schools Sports Associations U12 Boys football champions will host.
Kanjuki was given greenlights to host this outing following a decision made by the organizers and a document signed by the president, Nsubuga Ronald, issued on 23rd May 2025.
“We are eagerly waiting for this outing because whenever we go outside Kampala and Wakiso the organization is massive and exactly that is what we are expecting to find in Kayunga. Also, the playground are nice which creates a good environment for our boys to play well”. Stated Ronald Nsubuga, the president Soccer with Vision
Ahead of the re-kick off, Medinah Islamic Junior School leads the table with 43 points, Mustard Seed Junior School in 2nd position with 41 points, followed Also Alsowed Islamic Primary School with 41, Isamu with 38 and Kanjuki Junior School in the 5th position with 34 points but with 2 games less played.
Sixteen teams are battling in the U12 category
For starters, the Soccer With Vision League was started in 2018 but became actively in youth football in 2020.
It was started with an objective of identifying, nurturing, and developing football talents through playing organized football.
Since 2021, youths have been showing off their talents and skills through competing in different age categories, and this is the first time that Kanjuki Junior School are taking part in the initiative.
