Singer Alexander Bagonza alias A Pass has stung Ugandan media houses and presenters for failure to recognize good music.

Over the past several days, A Pass and DJ Nimrod have been going for each other’s neck, as the latter always claimed the former’s 42-track album had not worked well since its release earlier in the year.

DJ Nimrod went on to suggest that A Pass is struggling to find the old form he boasted about back in the days when he would be booked at several events around town with his songs making it on the countdown of different radio and TV stations.

To prove that several media personalities no longer have the test for good music but rather love the vibe in the songs by some artists, he shared an interview he held with BBC1Xtra when he had just released his album.

He explained that no Ugandan radio had ever hosted him for an in-depth interview and showcase his album but all they do is front how his album flopped yet international media outlets recognize his works.

The “Tuli Kubigere” singer added that most media outlets here only want to know who he is dating or report about the negative side of his life but not the music

My album premiered on BBC1Xtra the week of its release but I have not seen many radios in Uganda contact me to have an in-depth interview & showcase the album, many of them want to know who am dating. BBC knows the value of an Artist like A Pass, but you don’t. #ThisisAfrica
